History.

Corte delle Dolomiti Resort is a rare, unique location created during the 1960’s by the genial mountain architect Edoardo Gellner on request of the Chairman at the time of ENI, Enrico Mattei. His aim was to enable ENI employees to holiday in an intriguing alpine resort comprising a captivating church designed by Gellner together with the renowned “landscape architect” Carlo Scarpa: this year celebrations will be held for the centenary of the birth of Gellner and Mattei. A project based on an accurate consideration of nature and architecture, man and landscape, which has recently been reinstated and now glows with a new appeal, affording renewed comfort following an accomplished operation of requalification of the environment, residential units and hotel premises.

The 84 rooms, all with a panoramic view and private balcony, are equipped with telephone, TV SAT, mini bar and hairdryer. Safe in the room or in reception.

Several apartments have a private sun terrace and all are equipped with direct dial phone, tv, radio, private en-suite facilities, hairdryer, cooking utensils and kitchen ware. Two different types of apartment are available:

• one room for 2/3 guests, with kitchen area, sitting room with double bed and extra bed available;
• two rooms for 4/5 guests, with kitchen area, sitting room with two single beds, double bedroom and extra bed available.

The restaurant in hotel Boite offers all guests to the resort a simple, genuine cuisine evocative of the traditional dishes of the past created using local high-quality produce. Tempting delicacies accompanied by rounded wines and topped with unforgettable desserts. All in a congenial atmosphere with a refined waiter service.

By plane: arrival at Venice “Marco Polo” airport (130 km) or Treviso “S. Angelo” (100 km).

By Train: arrival at Calalzo di Cadore station and then by public bus to Borca di Cadore.

By Car: A27 motorway (Venice-Belluno) take the Longarone exit and follow the Alemagna highway N. 51 for approx. 29 km (direction Cortina d’Ampezzo) as far as Borca di Cadore.
