This Medieval palazzo, located in the heart of Siracusa (Island of Ortigia), has been transformed into comfortable accommodation, only a few metres away from the sea.

Impressive stonework, dramatic archways, beamed ceilings and four-poster beds all contribute to this romantic setting. Modern amenities are understated to preserve the integrity of the palace. There is assembly and banquet halls that hold up to 150 people.

Under the palace, you can visit the oldest Miqwè (Jewish ritual bath) in Europe, that dates from the Byzantine era. Guided tours are also offered.

Time of check in from Monday to Saturday until 8 pm Sunday and holidays until 12.30 am or by appointement with the Hotel.

The 26 suites, each one comprised of one/2 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom and terrace are all fully-equipped and furnished for your comfort.

Breakfast is served in buffet form, while beverages are served at your table by the staff. During the summer, breakfast includes typical Sicilian granita (semi-frozen dessert of sugar, water, and flavourings, similar to a sorbet), while in winter freshly squeezed orange juice is offered.

Residence Hotel Alla Giudecca We travelled around Sicily. We were satisfied and pleasantly surprised. Very nice restored room, small kitchen and very good breakfast. Kind Only we had a problem where to park, the aircondition in our room was noisy and without possibility to adjust / only to switch off elektrocity.

Residence Hotel Alla Giudecca The appartment we stayed in was great. It was spacious with excellent facilities. The rooms all had personal touches and it was a pleasure to stay in. As we were on the top floor, our balcony was large with a view of the sea over the neighbouring rooftops. The fact that the appartment was separate from the hotel gave the feeling of being independent, yet it took only a few seconds to get to the reception in the case of questions and for the large breakfast in the morning. Recommended.
