With its unique location in a typical Venetian square, the Bed & Breakfast Al Lion Morosini is very close to the 17th-century Malibran Theatre - originally named Teatro di San Giovanni Crisostomo and later changed to Teatro Malibran to honor Maria Garcia Malibran, a renown soprano of the early 19th-century.
The B&B is only a 5-minute walk from the Rialto Bridge, with its quaint fish market, and the Church of Saints John and Paul, where the Doges were crowned and buried, one of the best examples of Venetian Gothic architecture. In the immediate vicinity of the property, guests can also admire the church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, an impressive jewel from the Renaissance, entirely lined with precious marble.
Al Lion Morosini B&B offers finely furnished single and double guest rooms, as well as spacious family rooms sleeping up to four people.

By car
Guests can leave their car in Piazzale Roma. From Piazzale Roma, take the vaporetto water bus line 1 or 2 to Ponte di Rialto bridge. From there, follow the indications to Teatro Malibran and, before the bridge at S.G.Crisostomo, take Calle della Stua Scaleter and then Campiello del Remer - the small square overlooking the Grand Canal. You will see a white marble stairway; the B&B is on the second floor.
By train
From Santa Lucia railway station, take the vaporetto water bus line 1 or 2 and get off at Ponte di Rialto stop. Then follow the above indications.
By airplane
From Venice Marco Polo airport, you can take a taxi or a bus n°5 to Piazzale Roma. Then follow the above indications

Al Lion Morosini When we arrived, we had a delay in speaking with front desk personnel (only about 15 minutes). We stayed in the appartment which is separate from the hotel but a one minute walk to the hotel for breakfast. The passage the appartment windows opened out on to was a bit noisy at night but just so convenient. It was plenty of room for our family of 5.

Al Lion Morosini se encuentra en pleno centro!!!!!!!! en rialto y a tan sólo unos minutos de San Marco, os recomiendo este hotel si vais en época de carnavales, pues os encontrareis en el centro del ambiente nocturno. tiene muy buena calidad en comparación con otros hoteles en venecia, te dan independencia e intimidad. Está en un sitio tranquilo pero a tan sólo unos pasos de lo mejor de venecia!!!! sin duda volveremos allí. el que se encuentra en la recepcion por la noche no domina más que el italiano!!! ni inglés ni nada... un desastre!!!!! la de por la mañana es un autentico sol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Al Lion Morosini the drains in the bathroom were blocked/ ran slowly. Also there was a nasty smell around the toilet. But the bedroom was lovely, and the staff were excellent- very helpful! Thank you for a nice stay

Al Lion Morosini We had a wonderful stay in Venice in large part due to the wonderful hotel we stayed at, Locanda al Palazzo Lion Morosini. I would have liked to find out more information on our room before leaving for Venice. There wasn't much online information available. I didn't even know if I had a double bed with private bath until we arrived. Luckily, we did. My only other suggestion would be to provide a more detail map on how to get to the hotel. The pictures of the hotel helped to locate the hotel as well as to help decide to stay there.

Al Lion Morosini Camera vista canal grande veramente accogliente, ad un passo dal ponte di Rialto. Come trovarlo. Usciti dalla stazione prendere a sinistra su cannaregio, sempre dritto costeggiando in canal grande. Alla chiesa degli apostoli pietro e paolo a destra, supbito dopo un piccolo ponte si trova un loggiato, lo si percorre fino ad una piccol a piazza dove c'è un edicola. Di fronte all'edicola c'e' un tabaccaio, sulla sinistra del tabaccaio un vicolo, percorrendolo tutto si trova una piccola piazza ed una piccola galleria, al termine della quale si apre campello del remer, sul canal grand. L'ingresso dell'albergo è incima alla scalinata sulla destra, guardando il canale.

Al Lion Morosini ottima posizione - interessante il contesto - accoglienza e assistenza eccellenti. Colazione da migliorare. Eccellente rapporto qualità / prezzo considerata la vicinanza al Ponte del Rialto.

Al Lion Morosini Ubicación inmejorable, a unos pasos del puente de Rialto. Nuestra habitación con vsita al canal estaba era muy cómoda y acogedora. Bueno el trato del personal.

Al Lion Morosini Hotel moyen difficile à trouver car pas de numéro de rue et pas de nom affiché. Il faut impérativement être guidé par téléphone portable pour espérer trouver l'hotel.

Al Lion Morosini Sehr zentrale Lage. Zimmer gebucht und sogar kleines Appartement (Kühlschrank!!) gehabt. Preis-Leistung sehr in Ordnung (insbesondere verglichen mit dem allgemeinen Preisniveau in Venedig).

Al Lion Morosini Wir waren mit der Lage des Hotels sehr zufrieden. Die Taverna, gleich unter unserem Zimmer, war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und zum Teil auch zu laut. Vor allem wenn sich die Gäste auf dem ganzen Vorplatz verteilt haben, waren der Lärmpegel zu hoch und ging natürlich bis in die Morgenstunden. Bei geschlossenem Fenster war es auszuhalten. Insgesamt waren wir aber zufrieden.

Al Lion Morosini Eine absolute Toplage, und sehr freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück hätte besser sein können, aber der Blick vom Frühstücksbalkon auf den Canal Grande hat alles wieder wett gemacht. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten.
