Overlooking Piazza S. Maria Novella, hotel Roma, is a sophisticated 4 star hotel with very professional and friendly staff. Big breakfast, 57 rooms, nearby horse riding and garage complete the offer.
Hotel Roma is one of the finest 4 stars hotels of Florence. Is located in the heart of the city, in an ancient palace of 18th century, completely renovated in 1988, overlooking one of the most enchanting squares of the historical Florence, dominated by the imposing green-white marble façade of Santa Maria Novella church.
Our inn will be the ideal place for every kind of stay, for holiday, for shopping or business. The Hotel Roma offers, together with a great level of comfort a personalized service, a relaxing atmosphere and a high class hospitality, joining all the modern conveniences to the typical charming class of the ancient florentine hotel tradition.
The refined atmosphere of the ground floor, the conference hall, the reception and the american bar room are a concentrate of quality and elegance, a fusion of colors that combine the green of the walls together with the warm style of the fornitures. In this part of the building all the decorative elements are remarkable – capitals, pilllars, columns, panels ecc. – but the real jewels are the polychrome glass windows, work of Tito and Galileo Chini (1920).
The precious marble of the floors magnifies the complex creating a pleasant sensation of warmth and preciosity.
The façade is endowed by a platform with elements in shaped worked iron of fine workmanship.
All our 57 rooms have private ensuite bathroom with shower or tub, air conditioned, TV sat, radio, frigobar, phone, hairdryer, PC connection.
They are arranged on five floors served by 3 elevators, all furnished with the greatest care for details and elegance to meet all guests requirements.
Some rooms are reserved for non smokers.
A generous breakfast is served every morning from 07:00 to 10:30 in a quiet hall. You will have plenty of choice between coffee, cappuccino, chocolate, various labels of tea and more.
Our buffet offers a great selection of pastries, orange juice, yogurt, cereals, marmelades, fresh bread, cheese and charcuterie. The American Bar of the Hotel is the natural meeting point for drinks and snacks.
A few steps away you can find the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo) with the Giotto Belltower, Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge), Piazza della Siqnoria (Signoria Square), the Medicean district of San Lorenzo, the Lungarni and all the main florentine monuments and museums.
Furthermore the Hotel is near the central rail station and the congress, fairs and exhibitions center (Palazzo dei Congressi and Fortezza da Basso), easily reachable from the Florence Airport (Amerigo Vespucci).

Hotel Roma Good location, a few steps from the central station and the Duomo ( the cathedral). Spacious and clean room, with good facilities. The staff were very helpful. I would be happy to return here again.

Hotel Roma The hotel was excellent. In particular, the hotel looked identical to the pictues on the website. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. Our stay in Firenze was enhanced by our expeience of good service at the hotel.

Hotel Roma Good location near the main station of Florence( Santa Maria Novella). Outr room was clean and with a big bathroom. Quite good breakfast.

Hotel Roma Ottima ubicazione, a pochi passi da Santa Maria Novella e dal Duomo. La camera era molto pulita, attrezzata con tutte le comodita' necessarie. Abbondante la colazione!

Hotel Roma Bien situé au coeur de la vieille ville, l'hotel dégage une bonne impression de confort et d'authenticité. A regretter certaines chambres situées sur la rue sont bruyantes et l'internet est payant!

Hotel Roma Top-Lage. Wir hatten Übernachtung mit Frühstück gebucht und waren den ganzen Tag auf sightseeing unterwegs. Das Hotel war sehr komfortabel und sauber.
