We are located in the Lido of Venice, at 20 meters from the beach, only a few steps from Palazzo del Cinema, and 20 minutes from Saint Mark's Square, the heart of Venice. Hotel Rivamare commands a privileged location: on Lungomare Marconi, in front of the sea and the beautiful private beach, 50 meters from Hotel Excelsior -a magnificent example of liberty architecture-, and 200 meters from Palazzo del Cinema, a venue for important events and numerous congresses besides the Film Festival. Buses that will take you all over the 14-km island are found only a short walk from the Hotel. They will take you to San Nicolò (10 minutes) towards the north, to Gran Viale (5 minutes), to the center of the Lido with the very delightful treed avenue lined with shops, boutiques and famous ice cream parlors, to Alberoni (10 minutes) towards the south, to the age-old district of Malamocco, and for sport enthusiasts, to the prestigious golf course, and the riding school. After only a few minutes either on foot or by bus, while going along treed avenues lined with liberty villas, you will come to Piazzale Santa Maria Elisabetta where you can take the vaporetto or motor boat for Venice (10 minutes sailing time gets you to Saint Mark's Square). Not to be missed: the Benedictine Church of San Nicolò with the beautiful cloister dating from the 16th century, the Jewish cemetery known since 1386, and Malamocco, the old district where the Doge of Venice was elected.

By plane:

• From Venice Marco Polo Airport take the Alilaguna speed boat for the Lido of Venice and get off at Lido. Then take bus A or B towards Alberoni (departures every 10 minutes). Get off at Sant'Antonio (around 5 minutes). Across from the church, take via Calmo and at the end (100m) turn on your left. You will have arrived.
• From Treviso Airport, take shuttle ATVO for Venezia - Piazzale Roma. From here take vaporetto 61 or 51 towards Lido (departure every 10 minutes). Get off at Lido (around 30 minutes) and then take bus A or B towards Alberoni (departures every 10 minutes). Get off at Sant'Antonio (around 5 minutes). Across from the church, take via Calmo and at the end (100m) turn on your left. You will have arrived.

By car: the Lido of Venice can be reached by car with a convenient shuttle that takes off every 50 minutes from Tronchetto. From highways A4 and A 27, after the toll gate, follow directions for Venice. At the end of Ponte della Libertà (the long bridge connecting Venice to the mainland), turn right on Tronchetto and follow directions for Ferryboat Lido. It takes thirty minutes for the ferry to dock at San Nicolò, from here take on your right Riviera San Nicolò, continue straight to the vaporetto landing. From here take the street on the left of the roundabout and at the end turn right. After traveling on the coastal road for about one km, you will find the Hotel on the right.

By train: from the square in front of Santa Lucia train station take vaporetto 51 or 52 (departures every 10 minutes). Get off at Lido (around 40 minutes) and then take bus A or B towards Alberoni (departures every 10 minutes). Get off at Sant'Antonio (around 5 minutes). Across from the church, take via Calmo and at the end (100m) turn on your left. You will have arrived.
