La Vecchia Fonte Hotel owes its name to the old fountain located in the town center square. The hotel, which is elegant yet discreet, and really painstaking, with the architectonic lines of ancient taste, is an exclusive structure and the perfect place for a pleasant stay even thanks to the impeccable service, the professionalism and the courtesy of the staff. The natural and typical Mediterranean materials, which it has been built with, create a unique harmonious continuity with the surrounding atmosphere. The cork guarantees an isolation of high level to the entire structure thanks to the elevated degree of acoustic absorption, while the ancient wood of chestnut tree confers to a warm and welcoming aspect. Entering in the hotel you can pick immediately the particular atmosphere: the hall recalls the typical seafaring setting with the hatch, as light source, and the arches in finely shaped wood that remember the hold of the vintage sailing ship.

The hotel consists of 34 rooms and 2 suites, placed on three floors.

Classic: vintage and handcrafted carvings furniture, which follow the traditional Sardinian-style décor . In its bright and pastel shades, they are provided with a king size bed, one sofa bed and a nice sitting corner from the Mediterranean features, as well as private bathroom with shower, complimentary toiletries, and hairdryer. To complete it all, they are fully-equipped with air conditioning, mini-bar , in-room safe (planned for keeping even your notebook), satellite television, dial-direct phone, and dial-up Internet connection.

Classic double room: all the rooms are wide and bright, with a balcony or a terrace and fully equipped with ancient, simple yet embellished by handicraft carvings furnitures. They provide a bureau, a sitting corner with comfortable chairs for relaxing time and a spacious private bathroom with shower or tub, hair dryer, a set of luxury toiletries and bath amenities.

Superior: much wider than the Classic ones, bright and with a beautiful port view, our Superior rooms are provided with especially spacious bathrooms (it’s possible to choose also the bath),adorned with marble and with hand-decorated tiles. To complete it all, there is a separate sitting area for your relaxation time and a reading corner with bureau.

Senior Suite: it presents a romantic bedroom and can boast a private bathroom decorated in marble with a big shower, set of toiletries including personalized bathrobes and slippers. It also provides a private panoramic terrace with pergola, sitting corner, and a Jacuzzi pool/SPA which can be heated and lit up by night in order to let you abandon to an unique sensory experience in which everything melts in harmony….perfumes, music, boundless sunsets and the water caress… Two of them also have a panoramic communicating terrace. At guests’ disposal there is a long list of room services.

Suite: more sophisticated guests may want to select suites. With spectacular port view, they provide a welcoming sitting area, in which you can add one more bed, a separate queen size bed and a spacious bathroom with tub or shower. Moreover, all the rooms are air-conditioned and provide Sat TV, Internet access, direct-dial phone, mini-bar and in-room safe. The hotel has also two rooms for disable guests and all common areas are easily accessible thanks to the demolition of architectural feature that denies access to the handicapped.

The café and breakfast bar, which is situated on the ground floor and next to the hall, is a refined place where to listen to a good music in a refreshment-room that recalls shapes inspired to the seafaring world. It is an ideal place for a continental breakfast where you can find a traditional variety of fresh products, cereals, yoghurt, croissants, coffee, tea, milk, fresh baked pastries, seasonal fruit, fruit juices, a wide range of jam and cheeses.  A good coffee, a particular aperitif, a snack, a refreshing cocktail or a very great selection of wines is also available. Our precise, friendly and quick staff creates a pleasant atmosphere.
