The hotel la Meridiana, located in the town centre, offers an amazing view of the Neapolitan Gulf, from Capri and up to the Vesuvius. Just behind the main street, you can easily start a pleasant promenade for some shopping. Its location makes it easy to reach sights such as Capri, Pompei, the Vesuvius or Amalfi also with public transports and in a short time, being close to both the train and bus station and to the port.
The hotel has 45 comfortable rooms (double, triple or quadruple), all provided with satellite tv, safety box, telephone, air conditioning (between the months of June and September, only)/heating and a bathroom with shower/bath and hairdryer. Some of the rooms are overlooking the Sorrento's hills and some the citrus garden (a public garden where you can walk through the smell of orange and lemon trees).
The restaurant, open from 7 to 9 pm, offers local and traditional cooking, thanks to the skills of the chef and his co-workers, helped by the staff members, always ready and caring about the clients’ requests, proposing various dishes for every need.

By car: Highway A 3 Napoli/Salerno, Castellammare di stabia exit, statale SS145 untill Sorrento.
By train: from Naples, with the circumvesuviana train, last stop Sorrento. It
lasts around 1 hour. The hotel is 200 m far from the station.
By Hydrofoil: from Naples, Capri or Ischia, buses are available from the port to Piazza Tasso. The hotel is 500 m far from the port.
By bus: from Naples autolinee curreri: Naples Capodichino Airport - Sorrento Piazza Tasso. The hotel is 400 m far from Tasso Square.

Hotel La Meridiana Centrally located, only about five minutes walk from the main square Piazza.I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel La Meridiana A reasonably priced hotel in Sorrento. It has all to give you a relaxing and pleasant stay. Excellent breakfast.

Hotel La Meridiana Il parcheggio posto sulla pubblica via ed inadeguato (12 posti auto meno due per scarico merci ); mi è stata data una stanza doppia (molto piccola) con due letti a castello ed uno matrimoniale anzichè la richiesta quadrupla; bagno minuscolo ed obsoleto, con rubinetti usurati, scarico della doccia parzialmente occluso e nulla per poggiare gli asciugameni di ben quattro utenti! Lenzuola cambiate il primo giorno solo al letto matrimoniale! Pagamento anticipato (mai accaduto).
