The hotel has been created in a 16th century monastery located in a residential area, a short walk from the Cathedral (Duomo), Santa Croce, The river Arno,The Sinagoga and the historical center of Florence.

The original frescoes have been preserved on the walls. A steep flight of stairs leads to the accommodations, which include six spacious suites, some of which have a nice terrace.

The bathrooms, some of which have been redone in 2003, are well done, bright and clean. The hotel serves a full buffet breakfast in a lovely, bright room adjacent to the lobby and, weather permitting, outside in the enclosed cloister surrounded by flowers.

This hotel is small enough to be able to offer personal attention to its guests. Many repeat clients enjoy not only the ambience of the hotel but also its prime location from where you can reach the best corners of the Dante's town.

The rooms are all different and are mainly located at the back of the hotel. They are cozy and quiet yet maintain a high standard of furnishings (with some antiques) and amenities, including satellite television and mini bar.

The rooms are very comfortable and relaxing and are equipped and furnished in the right way to let clients enjoy the old atmosphere of the town and the modern service as minibar, satellite TV, direct telephone, etc. The bathrooms area is bright and wide with bathtub and separate showers as well towels, bathrobe, mirrors, courtesy Etro set, hair dryer, in order to let clients feel at home. Some rooms like del luxe type are larger of the others. The j. Suite and Senior Suite are equipped with special décor and the senior suites have two bathrooms area.

There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there are many choices nearby like Cibreo catering.

FROM ANCONA: Follow Strada Statale Adriatica for 2.5 km. At sign GRANCETTA/BOLOGNA-TARANTO follow the ramp Svincolo Ancona Nord for 1.1 km. At sign BOLOGNA follow the motorway A14-E55 for 40 km. At sign FANO turn right, follow the motorway Svincolo Fano for 554 m. At sign FANO SUD/ZONA INDUSTRIALE turn right, follow Ss3 for 38.4 km. Follow Ss257 for 51.3 km until CITTÀ DI CASTELLO. Follow Ss221/ Via Della Bastiglia for 398 m. At sign CESENA turn left, follow the motorway Strada Statale Tiberina for 14.4 km. At sign CESENA turn right, follow E78-Ss73 for 805 m. Turn right, follow Sp43 for 1.3 km.

Hotel J And J The room was suposedly a double deluxe. It was not well cleaned the bathroom/shower were in need of serious updating. We even had a hole in the window of the bathroom. Room #7 needs an ovehaul. Paint, clean the carpets(I wouldn't step on the floor wihtout slippers), and get some new draperies. Since this room is so dark, get some decent lighting.

Hotel J And J We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at J & J and will definitely recommend it. I slept better in those 2 nights than I have in 5 years and I wanted to take the bathroom home with me!!! The staff were exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable and the overall experience was wonderful.

Hotel J And J On-line photos do the hotel injustice. It was better than expected. The only disappointment was breakfast. We expected Tuscan hotels of that quality to serve more than danish cheese and boiled ham. And we would have had no objection in paying extra for that.

Hotel J And J Necessita di profonda manutenzione, soprattutto alcuni bagni. All'arrivo ho cambiato camera, da una Suite con bagno-doccia grandi ad una camera più piccola con bagno-doccia vecchi, per via del gruppo condizionatore esterno molto rumoroso. Per il resto tutto okey. In centrissimo, silenzioso,con ottimi ristoranti-trattorie intorno. Personale ottimo, disponibile e attento.
