By train

• Hotel Giglio can be eached in only 5 minutes by taxi from the Santa Maria Novella train station and in 15 minutes on foot. Exiting the left side of the station on Via Nazionale go up to Piazza Independanza and take a right in Via XXVII Aprile until you get to Piazza San Marco and then turn left onto Via Cavour where you will find Hotel Giglio at #85.

By car

• From Northern Italy: Arriving from the north on A1, exit at Firenze Nord and follow the directions for "Centro - Fortezza or "Viali di Circonvallazione". Arriving at the Fortezza da Basso (on your left) follow the tree lined boulevard until you reach Piazza della Libertà. Stay to the right and trun right into Via Cavour where you will find Hotel Giglio at #85.
• From Southern Italy: Arriving from the north on A1, exit at Firenze Sud and follow the directions for "Centro - Fortezza or "Viali di Circonvallazione". Follow the tree lined boulevard until you reach Piazza della Libertà. Circle the entire Piazza staying to your left and co,pleyte the circle by turning into Via Cavour where you will find Hotel Giglio at #85.

By plane

• The Florence airport (Amerigo Vespucci) is only 10 km (about 8 miles) from the center of Florence. You can take a taxi and arrive at Hotel Giglio in about 20 minutes. Taxi fare: approx. €20,00
