Hotel Fontebella It was our second destination when travelling around Umbria. Stunning view from our room. Location is very good, a few steps from the famous Basilica. Refined and elegant hotel with an excellent value for money.

Hotel Fontebella The hotel is set in a beautiful building, our room was spacious enough for both of us and spotlessly clean. From the hotel restaurant we enjoyed the stunning view. Good italian food. Highly recommended.

Hotel Fontebella This hotel is in a great location, the street is quiet and just a few minutes walk to the Basilica. I booked a single room but was given a double with plenty of space. The dining room is lovely with lots of choice for the continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again, it was very cheap for the standard of hotel.

Hotel Fontebella The hotel is located right in the centre of Assisi, a few steps from the cathedral. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. Good food. Clean and well appointed rooms.

Hotel Fontebella This was a miserable experience. The desk clerk was the rudest I have ever encountered. We were promised FREE parking and although there were open parking spaces, we were not allowed to use them. We had to park (by road) 2 Km away and walk back almost 1 Km and had to PAY for parking. Our room was so tiny there was barely room to move. The toilet did not work well. There was only one tiny window that opened onto a sidewalk at eye level so it was not practical to keep it open. Consequently, the room was uncomfortable.

Hotel Fontebella The hotel was great. It is strategically positioned in the middle between the basilica of St. Francis and the main town square. It is on a side street so that it does not have a great deal of traffic or noise. Our view out the window of the Umbrian valley was spectacular. One could request the front desk to set the air conditioning at whatever temperature was desired. The bathroom was large and modern for a European hotel. Best of all, the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, fluent in English, and went out of their way to accommodate us during our stay. Sandro and Martin at the front desk were particularly helpful. For the price, the hotel can't be beat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel Fontebella Molto comodo e vicino al centro. Ottima vista dalle stanze. Colazione discreta. Personale cortese. Camere in genere abbastanza piccole ma soprattutto i bagni sono piccoli e scomodi soprattutto nelle camere più vecchie (es. quelle al piano terra). Ottimi i prezzi, almeno tramite Traveleurope.

Hotel Fontebella hotel molto accogliente come anche il personale, disponibile e cordiale. Il ristorante dell'albergo é molto buono ma un pò caro ( probabilmente anche perché si trattava di Capodanno), consiglio piuttosto di girare trattorie della zona. Noi abbiamo preso una camera superior e la vista era davvero spettacolare, specialmente di notte con tutta la vallata illuminata. Lo consiglio vivamente
