Beautifully decorated and furnished, the Antico Moro, a 3 star hotel set in a venetian old style palace, recently refurbished and well equipped with amenities to assure you a comfortable stay.
Built on the structure of an ancient 1700's century palace, originally owned by the noble Foscari's family, after an accurate and careful restyling work made by the constructions company owned by the Trevisanato family that actually also manages the hotel, this building has become the actual Antico Moro Hotel.
The architectural structure of Antico Moro Hotel has been completely restored, maintaining at the same time the original characteristics, such as the trusses and the wooden beam-floors, the dark externals of green lacquered wood, the outside colors with the characteristic venetian red combined with an intense yellow.
At the same time, the guest can expect all the comforts and facilities actually required by the best hotellerie standards. All this contributes to keep the ancient quiet and comfortable atmosphere unvaried.
The staff hired and managed personally by the ownership (the Tonetto family) offers a high standard of hospitality and courtesy that will make your stay even more enjoyable.
This hotel, perfectly on track with the romantic Venetian tradition, is composed of fourteen comfortable rooms that welcome the guests with a combination of bright and soft colors learnedly combined either in the furniture and in the tissues along with the basic original wooden structure willingly maintained.
In addition, there is also a well-known restaurant-pizzeria called Sotto Il Segno, that serves typical meat and fish dishes, available for our guests with special prices, right beside the hotel. Breakfast for coeliacs on request.
Antico Moro Hotel is located in Venice county, right beside Mestre highway exit (1 kilometre), along the historical Castellana Road that connected Venice lagoon to the beginning of the Alps since a very, very long time ago and is ideally located both for tourists and business men.

- From the A4 Milan-Venice Motorway: if you come by the Milan-Venice motorway, after paying at the Venice-Villabona tollgate continue on the Tangenziale (by-pass) until you get to the VIA CASTELLANA exit. Go three-quarters of the way round the roundabout, turn right following inactions to “Zelarino”. Hotel Antico Moro is located on main street (via Castellana) on the left side at n°149.

By plane
- International Airport “Marco Polo”, Venice 14 Kilometres or 15 minutes by car or by taxi. Another solution is to catch bus nr 15 until the last bus stop of “via Torre Belfredo”, and after 5 meters bus nr 20 or nr 21 until Zelarino, bus stop right in front of a bank called “ Cassa di Risparmio di Venezia”, that is about 30 metres faraway from the hotel.
By train
- Mestre railway station. 3 Kilometres or 15 minutes with taxi or bus nr 20/21 until Zelarino, bus stop is right in front of a bank called “ Cassa di Risparmio di Venezia”, that is about 30 metres faraway from the hotel.

Hotel Antico Moro A very nice and good hotel in a quiet surrounding. Very good service and nice atmosphere. The restaurant next door has a good and various menu and nice prices as well. Perfect if you want to visit Venice and avoid the expensive hotels there: The bus stop is just 30 meters from the hotel.

Hotel Antico Moro I had an excellent stay. The hotel is very nice, conveniently located. The breakfast was wonderful, the staff very friendly. I would stay there again.

Hotel Antico Moro Excelllent choice for a hotel with easy access to Venice. Great hotel and staff. Very good breakfast and service. Only problem experienced was the very small room (basically, a room for one person) given to us the first night. This problem was resolved the next morning.

Hotel Antico Moro Odore non proprio piacevole in bagno, letto grande ma non comodissimo. Per tutto il resto ok, specialmente x la gentilezza del personale!

Hotel Antico Moro Très bon accueil, le personnel est toujours disponible pour fournir toute information pour rejoindre Venise, très pratiques les moyens de transport publics. Notre chambre était spacieuse et bien équipée. Petit déjeuner excellent.

Hotel Antico Moro Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. L'hôtel se trouve dans une position tranquille mais très pratique pour aller à Venise. Nous avons pu garer notre voiture dans le parking de l'hôtel et rejoindre la ville avec le bus. Nos chambres étaient spacieuses et bien équipées et le personnel de la réception nous a fourni tout l'aide et les informations dont on avait besoin. A recommander!

Hotel Antico Moro Accueil chaleureux, hotel bien entretenu, arrêt de bus à proximité, un seul bémol l'hôtel travaille avec un restaurant pizzéria contigü, mais ce restaurant est fermé le lundi et cela ne nous avait pas été signalé, donc le lundi soir nous n'avions rien pour se restaurer sauf une pizzeria à emporter à 600 m de l'hôtel, du coup nous avons pris la pizza dans notre chambre du coup le mini bar a été le bienvenu.
